Improving the skills to improve the workplace

In addition to training trainers to deliver courses based on local needs, PTC+ can prepare those directly involved in agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandry for new responsibilities in the areas in which they work. We offer training across an extremely wide variety of competencies, ensuring that we can develop or improve any skill set that you need from your workers. As always, our focus is on the practical applications of this training, so you can be sure that your workforce will return ready to implement what they have learnt.

How we train

At PTC+, we make sure that our students will be able to perform new skills in actual practice. To accomplish this, we use two training environments. At the training centre, students can practise skills in a ‘safe' learning environment, repeating procedures or techniques until they have mastered them. Training may also take place on-site at a functioning commercial enterprise, e.g., a working farm or greenhouse. This ‘rich' learning environment contains all of the elements of the actual workplace.
