Opportunities for independent students to upgrade their skills
Every year, PTC+ gives individuals from all over the world the chance to benefit from our considerable expertise by following one of our open courses. We offer an extensive range of training courses that cover practical skills, new technologies, managerial approaches, production and processing techniques - and much more.
Who can apply?
PTC+ can help you expand your skillset in an immediately useful and practical direction, whether you are an extension worker, a teacher or a commercial farmer, whether you work in agriculture, horticulture or animal husbandry, and whether you need an introductory or an advanced level of training. We always aim for each group to have a mix of scholarship- and self-funded students, as well as students from a range of different backgrounds and professions.
Course structure
To provide an optimum trainer-student ratio, our study-group sizes range from eight to ten participants, and each course takes place at one of our locations in the Netherlands. Training sessions can be delivered either in the ‘safe' learning environment of one of our training centres, or in the ‘rich' learning environment of one of our working farms or companies. In addition, PTC+ works alongside various partner companies, giving trainees the chance to train in a real-life context.
Finding the funding
PTC+ encourages prospective students to apply for funding and scholarships. You can find out more at the Nuffic website.

All our open courses are taught in English.
