Module Pig Farming As An Enterprise

Introduction

Pig production development inevitably leads to market-oriented
enterprises. These enterprises aim at maximising income that can be achieved by technically and economically efficient production.
Analysis of the obtained results is important in order to ascertain where improvements can be made and whether or not certain investments are justified. Health problems can seriously affect the profitability of the enterprise, so due attention is paid to preventive health programmes. Efficient production in itself is no guarantee for success of an enterprise. A basic marketing plan, starting off with the presence of a market with sufficient purchasing power and willingness to buy the products, is necessary.
