    • Content of training/course

    The course includes practical training sessions in the well-equipped PTC+ greenhouses, demonstrations, lectures, gaining skills and experience by working with equipment in a practical environment, and excursions to seed companies, greenhouse producers and equipment suppliers. All courses are English spoken.

  • Plant physiology in relation to climate control aspects

  • Implications of usage of technical equipment and devices

  • Climate control strategies

  • Water, irrigation and fertigation technology and strategies, usage of substrates.

  • Crop protection techniques and integrated pest management.

  • Post Harvest handling and Chain management

  • 2 days study tour to modern greenhouses, greenhouse suppliers, and equipment suppliers.

    Suitable follow-up education

    Applicants need a least three years experience in the crop production and the related fields and a diplome or B.sc. degree in agricultural science, plant production.
